Product Insights
The Floral Silhouette Accessories wastebasket from Simons Maison, priced at $12, offers a wavy silhouette that channels 1970s warmth and the 2025 scallop trend, though the name refers to the shape, not a floral pattern. Crafted from weighty, shatterproof polyresin that resists mold and peeling, it delivers stone-like durability and uniform matte finish across the collection. However, its hand-wash care (dry dusting preferred) and lack of full water resistance or drainage holes confine it to dry vanities, balancing retro aesthetic with maintenance tradeoffs.
Verified claims
- Design context
- This bathroom wastebasket has a wavy, retro-inspired silhouette that evokes 1970s warmth and the 2025 scallop trend.
- Name clarity
- The title Floral Silhouette Accessories describes the wavy contours, not a floral pattern.
- Material
- Polyresin is weighty, shatterproof, and resists mold and peeling.
- Care
- Hand-wash only; dry promptly to avoid spots; avoid harsh cleaners.
- Value
- At $12, polyresin offers stone-like weight and impact resistance.
- Cleaning
- Dry dusting is the primary maintenance method; avoid polish, wax, and abrasive or chemical cleaners.
- Naming clarity
- Floral Silhouette refers to the wavy shape, not a floral pattern.
- Collection design
- Stoneware tray and glass vase share the line's wavy silhouette.
- Water resistance
- Not fully water-resistant; the toothbrush holder likely lacks drainage holes, so the pieces are best for dry vanity surfaces rather than wet areas.
- Set consistency
- Polyresin molding delivers consistent color, wavy shape, and matte finish across the collection, with less piece-to-piece variation than glazed ceramics.
- Material performance
- The polyresin construction gives the pieces a heavier, stone-like weight, absorbs impacts to resist shattering, cracking, and denting, has a solid-through composition so the matte finish will not peel, and has a non-porous surface that resists mold and mildew.
- Off White color undertone
- The Off White colorway reads as a warm, creamy white rather than a stark pure white.
- Finish composition
- The off-white color and matte finish go all the way through the polyresin, so they will not peel in steamy bathroom conditions.
- Wet cleaning method
- When hand-washing is needed, use lukewarm water with a few drops of mild dish soap, a soft microfiber cloth or non-abrasive sponge, and immediately dry with a clean cloth to prevent streaks and keep the matte finish uniform.

Adding a retro decorative touch to your bathroom
This three-piece accessory set in matte light sage-green is designed to add a fun, special touch to your bathroom decor, with a wavy silhouette the merchant describes as having retro flair. Note that the pieces are handwash only.[1,2]
Dispensing soap or lotion at the sink
For anyone setting up a bathroom sink, this fluted cylindrical dispenser with a matte black pump holds soap or lotion within easy reach. Its matte pale sage-green finish matches the other pieces in the Floral Silhouette accessories set for a coordinated counter.[2,3]
Keeping a toothbrush and toothpaste at the sink
The flower-shaped holder in this sage-green accessory set stands on its side with three vertical slots along its top edge, shown holding a toothbrush and toothpaste in the product imagery. It offers a decorative spot to keep brush and paste within reach beside the sink, matching the matte finish of the set's dispenser and cup. Note that the toothbrush-and-toothpaste use comes from the depicted product image rather than stated specifications.[2]
Product comparison
Compared within this brand.
| Floral Silhouette Accessories: Choose this if you want a decorative bathroom accessory with a matte, slightly speckled finish and a wavy, fluted silhouette that the merchant describes as having retro flair; the pieces are made of polyresin and come as a soap dispenser with black pump, a fluted open cup, and a flower-shaped toothbrush holder in light sage-green or Off White. Note that each piece — glass, toothbrush holder, and pump — is sold separately, and the accessories are handwash only. One review analysis reports the toothbrush holder may arrive with a pre-existing chip (possibly a factory defect, given the secure packaging), so inspecting it on delivery is wise.[1,2] | Embossed White Flowers Accessories: Choose this if you want a glossy white ceramic soap dispenser with a subtle embossed floral band and a polished chrome pump with a short horizontal spout, in Simons Maison's fresh floral bathroom style. It is made mainly of ceramic with some plastic, and it must be handwashed only. Note this listing is the PUMP variant in White; a matching tumbler appears alongside it in the collection imagery.[4,5] | Shades Of Green Accessories: Choose this if you want ceramic bathroom accessories in Pine/Bottle Green with a hand-applied reactive glaze that adds a modern, refined touch, since reviewers say the rich, light-catching glaze blends well with various color schemes. Note that each piece is unique and colors may vary, the actual glaze is a solid uniform tone rather than the gradient shown in listing photos, and the green leans blue-green, which may not pair well with warm-toned bathrooms. The glass, toothbrush holder, soap pump, and soap dish are each sold separately, the pump and cup run larger than standard so measure your vanity if counter space is limited, and all pieces must be handwashed only.[6] |

Cute but chipped
The accessories are very cute but the toothbrush holder came chipped. I don't think it happened while shipping since they were wrapped up quite securely so they must have just grabbed a chipped one without noticing. Still cute though
cute and chic
Love these so much. Happy with my purchase.
So aesthetically pleasing
They look great in the bathroom. Quality seems fine, I just handwash them so far and they are easy to clean. I really like the look of these and would recommend.
