I bought some Simons brand towels about 3 years ago and they've held up decently, rotating between 2 sets. The ones that I have are the [Egyptian Cotton Electric Blue and Canary Yellow](https://m.simons.ca/en/bathroom/bath-towels/solid/egyptian-cotton-towels-soft-and-absorbent-super-high-quality--7682-1152230?colourId=73&queryID=16bcbe04ae2b92067adda712200d6bd9&algoliaIndex=simons_products_en-CA&sizeId=L243-9998), made in Portugal. They shed quite a lot on the first 5-10 washes (and had to be washed separately from other clothing) but I think that's typical for these plush towels and they've been colour set since then. Searching the site they also have some organic cotton options and Turkish cotton.
