Product Insights

This duvet cover set replicates the exact bedding from Hôtels Le Germain, milled in Quebec from a 330-thread-count blend of 50% extra-long-staple Egyptian cotton and 50% bamboo rayon. Its hotel-grade construction ensures durability and a precise fit for Le Germain inserts, while the fabric offers a silky, moisture-wicking feel that helps regulate temperature. However, the cotton content retains warmth, making it less suitable for hot summer nights despite the bamboo's cooling properties; many users recommend buying on sale at $99.95 rather than the regular $299.

  • Positive long-term review of Hôtels Le Germain sheets from Simons

The Germain line at Simons. Made in Québec. Have had them on my bed for a couple of years and they still look brand new. They are pricey but sometimes go on sale. Last week they were 25% off. Nit sure if same is still on. Simons has been owned by the same family ( the Simons family) since 1840. Started with one store in Quebec City and they now have more than a dozen in several provinces.

  • Negative experience with sizing and shipping for Hôtels Le Germain sheets

I don’t love these and the queen size doesn’t fit my US queen bed well. My mattress is not super deep but I can’t get these fully on it even through the fabric is there. Also, huge tariff to ship to US! I thought they were shipping from the US but there were not.

  • Long-term positive review with a caution about summer warmth

I’ve been sleeping in those sheets since 2017. The pillows and duvet are very comfortable. Get them on sale, it’s worth it. The cotton is a warm fabric for the summer though.
