Product Insights
Simons Maison's Gingham Sheet Set offers hotel-grade durability from organic cotton with a 144 thread count that is more breathable than higher-count percale, starting crisp but softening with each wash without pilling or thinning. The 16-inch fitted pockets fit thick mattresses (deeper than L.L.Bean's), though an initial 3–5% shrink leaves pockets still deep enough. Colorfastness requires a vinegar first wash, and the set's price at CAD $79.95 makes it the most affordable organic cotton gingham option in Canada, available for in-store inspection at 15 locations. The main tradeoff: sheets begin stiff and shrink slightly, but their natural softening and durable weave justify the adjustment period.

Simons sheets satisfaction and Canadian-made note
Simons! Bought a few sets and have been pretty happy. I believe their Hôtels Le Germain sets are made in Canada

Praise for Simons cotton sheets
Simons has great bedding and sheets. I'm pretty picky as I've tried high thread but low quality which means it's sateen or poly which is not great. Simons has a category specifically for 100 percent cotton sheets and it's amazing. If you're a hot sleeper, cotton is the way.

Happy with Simons bedding, compares to other brands
I'm really happy with my linen sheets and cotton print duvet cover so far from Simons. So much so I have a bunch more bedding in my cart taunting me. And I'm picky about bedding, but I can't afford the luxury stuff I use to sell and get deep discounts on so I'm always on the hunt for affordable but quality items. I also like Wilet products! Not cheap, but I've like the quality of the linen, they do have cotton bedding too. For duvets and pillows, Canadian Down has been my favourite so far. Just put the new duvet on the other night and it's lovely, my pillows have lasted three years and are still in great shape.
