Product Insights
The Chloe Indoor-Outdoor Table Lamp is a cordless, floating, and submersible lamp (IP68 certified) with a built-in twilight sensor that automatically turns on at dusk but must be manually switched off at dawn, full RGB color control and dimming via remote, and a battery lasting 12–36 hours per charge (700-cycle lifespan) charged via solar or USB (5V 1A adapter only; requires initial 8-hour charge and quarterly top-ups). Its UV-stabilized shade and stable tripod base make it durable for covered outdoor use, though rain, standing water, or humidity can damage the wood and electronics, and the lamp must be stored indoors during winter. At $239 CAD, it bundles sensor, RGB, and solar features absent from similarly priced competitors, while offering a glare-free, shadow-free light ideal for dining below eye level and cordless stability that eliminates tip-over risks on outdoor tables.
Verified claims
- Pool safety
- Described as floating and IP68-rated for dust-tight, continuous-submersion survival, and safe for poolside placement; an IP44 covered-outdoor rating also appears for the lamp.

- Weight/carry
- The shade is made of lightweight polyethylene, and the solid wood tripod base keeps the center of gravity low, making the lamp less top-heavy than designs with glass or metal shades.

Cordless evening lighting for the living room or covered patio
A small, portable table lamp you can move between indoor evenings and time outside under a covered area, since it is rechargeable and can run 6 to 36 hours per charge. A built-in sensor turns it on automatically when the sun goes down, and the dimmable LED lets you set a warm, low-light mood. It is rated IP44, so it is meant for outdoor use under a roof rather than in direct rain, standing water, or prolonged humidity.[2,4]
Set the mood with remote-controlled color tones
The Chloe table lamp comes with a remote control that changes its RGB LED color tone. The manufacturer suggests using it to shift the atmosphere for dinner service, lounge settings, or relaxed evenings, indoors or out.[2]
Charging the Chloe lamp's rechargeable battery
The Chloe lamp runs on a rechargeable battery and can be topped up with the supplied USB charging cable. Newgarden specifies pairing the cable with a 5V 1A max adapter, which is not included, and warns that a higher voltage adapter may cause irreparable harm to the lamp; the first charge should be a minimum of 8 hours. The manufacturer also notes recharging the battery every three months to maintain its performance, and the lamp additionally supports solar charging at 0.5W, with a reported runtime of 2 to 6 hours from a solar charge.[1,2]

| Chloe Indoor-Outdoor Table Lamp: Choose this if you want a small, portable cordless table lamp that moves between the living room and the patio: it is solar and USB rechargeable, with dimmable white and RGB LED lighting, a built-in twilight sensor that turns it on at dusk, and an included remote, offering roughly 2 to 6 hours per solar charge or 12 to 36 hours per electric charge. Note that it is rated IP44 and intended for outdoor use under a roof only—direct rain, standing water, and prolonged humidity should be avoided—and charging requires the supplied cable with a 5V 1A max adapter (not included), since a higher-voltage adapter may cause irreparable damage.[2,3,4] | Lola Indoor-Outdoor Table Lamp: Choose this if you want a wireless, rechargeable table lamp you can easily move between indoor spots and sheltered outdoor areas: it recharges via USB with a cable included, runs up to 40 hours on a full charge depending on usage, and dims with button-operated controls on its 160-lumen LED (4000K). Its compact size — about 12.75 inches tall and 4.5 inches in diameter — with a metal structure and matte white polypropylene shade suits mood lighting and decor accents. Note that outdoor placement is recommended only in a protected environment, so it is not meant for fully exposed weather.[5,6] | Shitake Portable Table Lamp: Choose this if you want a small, rechargeable table lamp with a mushroom-shaped silhouette that can move between indoor spaces and covered outdoor spots. Its built-in warm LED puts out about 450 lumens at 3000K with three brightness levels, a touch switch, and a tilting shade, running up to 20 hours per charge via the included USB cable; it measures 6.5 inches in diameter and 10 inches tall and comes in black or white. Note that its IP44 rating is meant for indoor use or outdoor use under roof—avoid prolonged sun and rain exposure, and don't store it in unheated spaces during winter (recharge the battery every three months if unused for long periods).[7,8] |
