Repairability and sound quality of Tivoli radios
As for BIFL-ness: mine died a few years ago. I'm handy and took it apart to see if I could find and replace some obviously-burned-out component. I couldn't find anything wrong, but Tivoli was able to repair it at nominal cost. So, downvote for the unit dying to begin with, but upvote for building a repairable product (and the systems to actually carry out repairs). BTW, the rear panel on mine looks identical to the one in the Amazon listing you show; so, maybe the product hasn't changed much over the years. FYI: It sounds great for such a compact system.
