I wanted a table clock to put in my therapy office and this seemed cute. But, the quirks are making me return it - to slot in the battery, you need to move the outer cover, and the battery cover itself isn't easy - makes it feel like it may break easily. Plus, the battery cover does NOT close after you put a AA battery in there (as per spec). The clock also has a low ticking sound, which i did not want as it can be distracting. If you're ok with these quirks though, it is a beautiful looking clock and has a small light activated by pressing on the side.
