Product Insights
Artza & Co.'s Cecile Wallpaper Strip, priced at $65 ($7.96/sqft), offers repositionable, residue-free removal on smooth surfaces and four panel lengths (48–120 inches) that reduce off-cut waste by 10–20%, lowering effective cost per square foot beneath competitors like Tempaper and York. Its raised canvas texture conceals minor wall imperfections and accepts damp cleaning, but heavily textured walls are not recommended and removal may cause damage.
Verified claims
- Price per square foot
- At the CA$65 Simons listing price, the 24½" × 48" panel works out to roughly $7.96 per square foot — high for peel-and-stick but below some comparable commercial-grade vinyl wallpapers that exceed $10 per square foot.
- Size options
- Offered in four panel lengths from 48 to 120 inches to match ceiling height, with each panel 25 inches (63.5 cm) wide; choosing the right length can cut waste by 10–20% and lower the effective per-square-foot cost.
- Repositioning
- Repositionable by gentle peel-back if not pressed down firmly for an extended period.
- Surface compatibility
- Removes without residue from smooth, clean, painted walls; not recommended for heavily textured surfaces.
- Panel sizing
- Offered in four lengths from 48 to 120 inches to match ceiling height; each panel is 25 inches (63.5 cm) wide including overlap allowance.
- Texture concealment
- Raised canvas texture on adhesive vinyl helps conceal minor wall imperfections.
- Wall texture compatibility
- Heavy textures not recommended; fine orange peel may be acceptable; removal may damage.
- Care
- Wipe clean with damp cloth and mild detergent; removes cleanly from smooth walls, may peel on textured.
- Texture feel
- Physically raised canvas texture conceals minor wall imperfections.
- Panel length
- Four panel lengths reduce trimming waste by 10–20% vs fixed-length rolls.
- Material thickness
- Measures 6/1000 inch (6 mil) thick — one of the thickest peel-and-stick vinyls available — and is fully opaque, so dark wall colors and existing patterns won't show through; it is a commercial-grade adhesive vinyl.
- Origin
- Manufactured in Canada.
- Pattern repeat
- The pattern repeats every 24.5" x 24.5", and the panels are designed to overlap about ½" so adjacent panels can be lined up edge to edge for a continuous look.
- Installation prep
- Let the unopened panels sit in the room for 24–48 hours before peeling any backing so the vinyl reaches ambient conditions and moves less after application.
- Pattern troubleshooting
- A pattern that drifts toward the floor is almost always a first strip hung off-plumb or a panel stretched to force the match, not a print defect; re-level the starting line and smooth each panel from the middle outward.
- Commercial-grade construction
- As a peel-and-stick panel, the Cecile carries its own adhesive and no fabric backing, so the durability half of its commercial-grade claim rests on the face film rather than a traditional pasted fabric-backed installation system.
- Commercial-grade lightfastness
- To qualify as commercial grade, the covering must pass 200 hours of light exposure with no change in color, shade, or tackiness.

Adding a feminine floral accent wall
This wallpaper strip suits decorating a wall when you want a delicate floral look — it shows drooping botanical branches with five-petaled flowers in pale cream against a grey background, with hand-drawn-looking outlines and a subtle canvas-like texture. Artza & Co. describes it as an elegant, easy-to-install way to give a room an ultra-feminine atmosphere with rustic yet refined character. The pattern repeats across the panel, so it can cover the wall edge to edge.[1,2]
Adding a botanical accent wall with peel-and-stick panels

The panels are easy to install and remove, and each package includes an installation guide and smoother.
