Buying Guide

A small cup of tea for one
Tea drinkers say this mug's small capacity is exactly right for a single cup, especially when pouring from a full pot. Note that it runs smaller than some expect — reviewers found it less suitable for coffee with cream, which can end up mostly foam. It's best suited to tea or black coffee.[1]
Coffee with cream: reviewers say the size is a stretch
Some customers report this mug runs smaller than expected, which matters most if you drink coffee with cream — one reviewer said the added cream shrinks the coffee portion, and two reviewers found coffee with cream becomes mostly foam. Based on those reports, the mug may be better suited to tea or black coffee.[1]
A gift for the cat lover in your life
With its vintage-style kitten illustrations in bright colours, this mug makes a charming present for cat enthusiasts, whether as a Christmas gift or a little surprise. Some gift-givers say the playful cat motifs make it an eagerly anticipated present, though this comes from a couple of shopper reviews rather than a guaranteed reaction.[1]

| Kitten Vintage Frame Mug: Choose this if you love cats and want a glossy ceramic mug wrapped in a vintage-style collage of framed kitten illustrations, which reviewers praise as beautiful and original and which two customers say makes an eagerly anticipated gift for cat enthusiasts. It is dishwasher and microwave safe, with a 325 ml (11 oz.) fill capacity in a tall cylindrical shape measuring 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) in diameter by 4.25 inches (11 cm) high. Note that reviewers find it runs smaller than expected: it is considered perfect for tea or black coffee from a full pot, but too small for a standard serving of coffee with cream.[1,2] | Perched Kittens Mug: Choose this if you want a ceramic mug with a playful printed design of three kittens on a flowering branch, a light blue glazed interior, and a convenient dishwasher- and microwave-safe build. Reviews-based analysis describes its 10 oz capacity as a sweet spot for standard coffee or tea brews, with ceramic walls that reportedly keep drinks warm and a smooth, comfortable lip. Gift-givers reported happy reactions from cat-loving friends and family, from grandkids to coworkers; note it comes in a single size in the Patterned Blue colorway.[3,4] | Retro Cats Mug: Choose this if you want a playful, retro-style ceramic mug decorated with big blue-eyed cats, including a small printed white kitten with dark eyes and a pink scarf. It has a pale pink glossy exterior, a contrasting darker pink interior, and a C-shaped handle, and it is dishwasher and microwave safe. Measuring about 3.25 inches (8.5 cm) in diameter and 3.5 inches (9 cm) tall, this Simons Maison exclusive is designed in Canada.[5,6] |

Small
It’s beautiful and I knew it was small but it’s very small. I’ll reserve for tea when I’m making a full pot. I drink tea black, coffee with cream wouldn’t have much coffee in it.
Tasse chats de la monarchie
