Batac 16L fit issues for short torso
I have the Cotopaxi Batac- it is several inches longer than my very short 15” torso. It’s uncomfortable at the shoulder and it hurts on the hips. Even packed for a 4 day trip I found it awful.

I have it in the bright colors, but that's what made me buy it (on impulse!) It was before I knew anything about the brand. I pack it in my Peak Design travel backpack and use it as a daypack when I travel.

Batac 16L praised as favorite packable backpack
In the past I have tried a few of packable packpacks, Matador Refraction, Aer Go, Rennen ripstop, Cotopaxi Luzon, but my favorite ended up being the Cotopaxi Batac 18. Its a true packable and doesn't have much structure it can be compressed very small and even into its own pocket then folded a few times. In many ways its my ideal packable backpack cause its strap/harness is the best for someone my size.

Batac 16L poor laptop carry but good gym bag
My Batac 16 barely fits my 15” MBP, and it’s a pain to get in and out of the back sleeve. It’s also incredibly thin, and not comfortable to wear with a laptop in it. That said, I love it for so many other purposes; it’s my daily driver gym bag for running to/from the gym.
