Nice quality and fit
Nice quality and fit
A great peacoat
I really like the Peacoat. The felted bib looks great and keeps the winter wind off my neck and upper chest. Sizing stated must be for the outer dimensions of the coat as my chest measures at 46 but it was ultimately the size 42 chest that fit.
Just what you need for winter
Just right; unfortunately comes in only one color
Removable felted bib peacoat.
1) The delivery was less than stellar from Nationex, I guess someone decided to see if what was in the box was worth something as the box was torn on one end. Simons, please tape the box all the way instead of just in the middle. 2) I tried the jacket on as soon as I received it, unfortunately the lining inside the left sleeve near the elbow was not sewn. I called customer service who checked with their in-house tailoring service and one of their stores to authorize a quick repair. I went the next day and it barely took 10 minutes to get fixed. In and out. Stellar service, as always, from Simons. Nationex, what a disappointment.

Great fitting peacoat that delivers on looks and functionality. The removable bib collar is so cozy for cold days and easy to remove when not needed.
Quality coat
Purchased size 36 as a gift. Wish there was a smaller fit available, recipient is 5’5”, could have used a size down. He would prefer it shorter in sleeve and length. Still looks smart. Has a heavy weight to it, being wool, it should keep wearer warm.
