Compass 50 used as daily gym bag
Thanks! It is just barely big enough as a gym bag for me. I picked it up last fall in one of the DC area Coach stores. I believe I ordered it online for in store pick up. I beat her up too. I shove her vertically into a gym locker daily and her shape bounces back.

Compass vs Gotham leather comparison
The leather on the Gotham bags is way thicker , more durable. The compass is a softer slouchier leather - I love my compass bag but I wouldn’t get the large one to travel with because it’s so slouchy. It would be like my LV keepall 50- super soft and beautiful but not comfortable to carry full with stuff in it. If you are aiming for a travel bag - size 50 is perfect for a carryon cabin , weekend type bag.

Compass 45 as personal item advice
I was just researching this since I saw the olive 45 is on sale at Amazon! It looks like based on dimensions alone it’d be high risk/too big, but if not fully packed you could maybe squish it down. It would definitely be ok as a carry on in the overhead bin, but if you’re trying to use it as a second/personal item the 35 would be safer
