Shimmery Dice Charm Keychain
The Coach Shimmery Dice Charm Keychain is a decorative bag/keychain accessory featuring two resin dice – one cream pearlescent and one black marbled – with faux-gemstone rhinestone pips, mounted on polished metal hardware with a ring-and-hook closure. It includes a COACH metal tag and C-shaped charm, measures 2.5 cm (1 inch) in length, and attaches to bags or keys via split rings and a lobster clasp. Customer reviews note the metal construction is heavy and can produce clacking sounds in motion; some report that dice may detach with wear.

Product Insights
The Coach Shimmery Dice Charm Keychain reimagines 1950s fuzzy dice as a 1-inch bag charm and keychain, offering enduring rhinestone sparkle that won't chip and neutral black-and-white styling for any bag. However, its resin dice with metal hardware are heavy—straining and scratching bags—and the dice often break off within a year, attached by adhesive that fails, while the metal itself scratches easily and the moving dice create loud clacking noise, making the charm impractical and prompting returns; at $115 CAD (7–10x the price of dupes), it requires careful storage away from sunlight and cleaning with a dry cloth.
Verified claims
- Weight
- Buyers report the charm feels excessively heavy.
- Durability
- The dice can break off the charm over time.
- Noise
- Buyers report a clacking noise from the dice when the charm is on a bag.
- Attachment
- The attachment method is not specified, but community reviews suggest the dice may be glued rather than secured with jump rings or soldering.
- Value
- $115 CAD, 7-10x the price of $10-15 dupes.
- Practicality
- Buyers report the charm's heavy weight and clacking noise as notable drawbacks.
- Feel
- Resin dice feel warmer to the touch than all-metal charms.
- Sparkle
- Integral sparkle won't chip or flake with use.
- Care
- Store away from sunlight, clean with a dry cloth, and keep in a pouch to avoid tarnish.
- Styling
- Black-and-white dice pair neutrally with any bag color.
- Style versatility
- The 1-inch dice charm is sized to combine with other charms or chain straps without overwhelming the bag.
- Dual use
- Functions as both a bag charm and a keychain.
- Keychain tradeoffs
- Buyers report the charm is heavy and noisy, and dice may detach over time.
- Origin
- Shrinks 3-inch fuzzy dice to a 1-inch bag charm.
- Materials
- Resin dice with metal hardware and glass rhinestone pips replace the original plush.
- Color variant
- This listing is for the Black and White variant, so the dice are black and white; the gold-dice inconsistency about black versus gold dots does not apply to this product.
- Jewelry-like styling
- Coach positions the 1-inch dice charm as delicate luxury bag jewelry rather than a truck-stop novelty.

Dice broke off within a year despite careful use
same I bought this 4-5ish years ago at the outlet and within a year the red die broke off from the charm and wouldn’t stay in place no matter how many different kinds of superglue I used and eventually lost it :(. super gorgeous and super sparkly! I miss it tons

Heavy weight and clacking noise make charm impractical
Ordered the black one but returned it because of how heavy it was and I didn’t like how it would clack against each other every time the bag moved. I also seem to remember someone posting pictures of theirs (also black) that they hadn’t had for very long and it was very scratched up. It’s a really cool looking charm but I don’t think it’s worth the trouble/$.

Silver dice version is too heavy to use despite cute design
I have the silver version and the dots are silver. I personally don’t really care for this charm though, because it is so heavy and I have yet to use it. I do think they are super cute though. It’s just way too heavy for me. 🫤
