Detailed critique of Drake's OCBD quality and fit
I wear Drakes for work and they’re just ok. $255 USD is a lot. You get 3 for $595 (straight up: no tax and free shipping) which comes out to $198.33 but that’s still feels like a lot for what they are. They just average out to pretty above average for me. The collar points are a nice 3.5in but the interlining isn’t that pliable so the roll isn’t that great. This also has to do with the button placement for me. If you notice most Drake’s ads and lookbooks feature the button-down collars almost always with the collar buttons undone to hide this. The “roll” also gets squished easily from me looking down and looks really bad. I got them because they can come off the rack in my neck size with a 36in sleeve. The construction and materials seem great but I notice the Oxford cloth pills and peaches around the collar and under the jaw/chin surprisingly quick.

Perception of Drake's work shirts as Ivy office wear
A checked Drake’s work shirt is meant to be more so utilized sort of like an OCBD. At least in the way it’s layered, and can be tucked in with a sports coat thrown on top. It’s very tasteful ivy office wear, and the price point reflects that because of the target audience.
