Our Legacy
Parade Brogue Shoes Men
Our Legacy Parade Brogue Shoes are men's leather brogue dress shoes featuring a premium Italian leather upper, leather lining, padded footbed with leather top cover, smooth leather outsole with non-slip rubber heel insert, and a stacked heel; they are made in Portugal. Designed for dress and semi-formal occasions, they also serve as a fashion-forward statement piece; owner reviews note a long, painful break-in period, inconsistent sizing that often requires sizing down about two sizes, and a high-gloss upper that may crease over time. The shoes include branded dust bags and carry model number A4257BB.

Product Insights
The Parade Brogue Shoes Men by Our Legacy are a fashion-forward take on the classic brogue, featuring a full-surface brogue pattern and new lace panel for a statement look, paired with a chunky Norwegian welt that adds utilitarian contrast and ensures water resistance and decades of repairability through multiple resoles. The Italian cowhide leather is designed to naturally distress over time, developing a personalized patina, but this intentional aging also leads to rapid creasing. However, the shoe runs 1-2 sizes large, requires a painful break-in even after months, and buyers report persistent discomfort. At $750, similarly-priced alternatives offer better comfort and long-term value, and the laces are often the weakest component needing immediate replacement. The overall story is a tradeoff between distinctive heritage style and durable construction versus significant fit challenges and comfort sacrifices.

- Sole protection
- A rubber half-sole applied after break-in shields the forefoot and delays a resole by years.

- Value
- At $750, similarly-priced alternatives offer better comfort and long-term value.

Positive feedback on fit and statement despite lace issues
No complaints on fit or break in. Decent quality other than the laces. They definitely make a statement in person.

Detailed owner experience: sizing, break-in, and material concerns
I own these. First of all - their sizing is (as on par with OL in general) extremely wonky. I had to size down to size 40, I'm normally 42-43 in sneakers and 41-42 in leather shoes. They're pretty horrible to break in, and not super comfy once broken in. They're also patent leather, so they'll age quite poorly - depending on what your taste is of course. That said, they are sick shoes. But I only use them when dressing up and with my suit - and would personally not use them on an everyday basis for reasons above.
