Balanced review: value, materials, durability
Solid shoes at this price if you understand their limitations. Positive end the break-in is basically only a couple wears, a blowdryer (even better, heat gun) can be used to easily swap out the terrible insole, and despite being meme'd to death I think they are still very stylish, semi-minimal shoes. Flipside, boy did Nike find any means possible to make these as cheaply as possible. Most of the shoe is now fake leather, the suede is so cheap it'll likely stain with even a well washed pair of jeans, and ultimately they won't last more than a season. Solid shoes at $50, overpriced at $100.

Current style and trend assessment
This is the worst possible place to request advice on Killshot 2s. I say this as a 40 something year old dad - if you are in your 40s and absolutely cannot be arsed to pick out a tennis shoe the Killshots are perfectly fine, no one will think twice about it. Otherwise, you are gonna kinda need to look and see what is happening around you that you think is stylish. I’m in Ohio - young men are JUST starting to en masse adopt looser pant fits here and chunky shoes still work, but in NYC the trend has already swung a bit away from the chunky dad shoe. I can’t imagine that for 20 year olds it will swing into Killshots but I could be wrong. Classic skate shoes (Vans) or even Adidas Sambas look more on trend to me if you are adopting looser skate type fits. But if you are wearing slim dark wash jeans and a cardigan to the office, Killshots are still a banger.

Use cases, comfort, and longevity
I have had a few pairs of them over the years. Very stylish and flexible. I can wear them out or in the office. As far as comfort and quality, not the highest. I can handle them on a night out or sitting around in my office. But I wouldn’t wear them if I knew I was walking a lot of miles. They get creased up easily too with repeated wear. I consider the Killshots in the same category as Chucks or Vans. Easy to style with a variety of outfits. But not meant to last more than a year of wear.
