Product Insights

The Satisfy Space-O Running Belt is a premium, 45g running belt crafted from Italian microjersey (59% polyurethane, 41% spandex) that offers four-way stretch, breathability, and moisture wicking for a dry feel during runs up to marathon distance. Its four-pocket system organizes a phone, keys, 2–3 gels, and a 500ml flask with no bounce when sized down 1–2 sizes, a critical tradeoff for fit. Weighing half a FlipBelt, it carries less than the Justice Dyneema—ideal for daily training and racing up to 10 miles, but ultrarunners may need a vest beyond that. At $145 CAD, buyers accept the premium cost for the Italian fabric, design, and brand cachet, despite sizing inconsistency and capacity limits compared to cheaper alternatives.

Verified claims

Bounce
Buyers report minimal or zero bounce when the belt is sized snugly—often by sizing down—though a full 500ml flask can still cause bounce.
Storage
Holds a phone, keys, multiple gels, and a 500ml soft flask, though a full flask may affect fit.
Run distance
Recommended for runs up to marathon distance; some users prefer a vest for longer efforts.
Weight
Weighs 45g (about 2 oz), lighter than the 65g Naked Running Band, and costs $145 CAD.
Breathability
Perforated fabric dries quickly and resists moisture build-up.
Feel
Perforated Italian microjersey (59% polyurethane, 41% spandex) has four-way stretch, moisture wicking for breathable, dry feel.
Use case
Used for runs up to marathon distance, carrying a phone, keys, multiple gels, and a 500ml soft flask.
Stretch
Four-way stretch provides full-range mobility through the hips and obliques and recovers immediately.
Fabric
Italian technical microjersey adds quick-drying, moisture-wicking, and odor control beyond standard power-mesh belts.
Durability
Long-term stretch durability is not well documented; some users report minor aesthetic wear on similar materials, while the fabric should retain elasticity with proper care.
Value
Many buyers believe the $145 CAD price is worth the quality and design, though budget alternatives exist.
Fit
Fit varies; a snug or sized-down fit yields minimal to zero bounce, though a full 500ml flask can cause bounce.
Versus Dyneema
Compared with the Dyneema belt, the Space-O is lighter and more breathable but has less storage and is suitable for runs up to marathon distance; the Dyneema has more compartments and durability for longer efforts.
Pocket layout
Four pockets keep phone, keys, gels, and flask separate, eliminating jumble.
Alternatives comparison
Weighs less than the Naked Running Band and offers four separate compartments instead of its single open compartment.
Sizing
Sizing guidance varies: some buyers recommend sizing down for a bounce-free fit, others find true to size works, and a few suggest sizing up; body shape and desired tightness matter.
Hip mobility
Four-way stretch fabric allows unrestricted hip flexor and oblique movement.
Functionality
A snug fit—often achieved by sizing down—minimizes or eliminates bounce, while the four-pocket system organizes a phone, keys, gels, and a flask for runs up to marathon distance.
Positioning
At $145 CAD, it is a fashion-tech running belt positioned as the lighter, more breathable companion to the Dyneema belt for runs up to marathon distance.

  • Sizing and capacity for Space-O belt

I would say it depends on your waist mid section. I am a 31/32 waist and a M is fine and I am carrying a phone, keys, 2-3 gels, 250ml and 150ml flasks in a Space O belt. Space O is fine if you aren’t loaded down. I use it up to 10 miles then I start using a vest.

  • Space-O belt use cases and comparison to Justice

I own both! The space o belt is better for shorter runs and when I don’t need to carry a water bottle. I’ve run marathons with the Justice Dyneema band, was able to stuff like 8-10 gels and 2 32oz soft flasks and still fit my phones. I would recommend the space o for anything up to like a marathon distance.

  • Space-O belt convenience and sizing to avoid bounce

I have both justice and space o belt. I grab the space o belt more often just because its more convenient and much better for shorter trainer runs where the justice feels bulkier and more noticeable and has more storage for longer runs. Space o is sufficient for anything really. The guy saying he has bounce probably because he bought a size too big, i sized down and i have no bounce.

  • Space-O belt sizing experience with medium

I wear a medium in most things for bottoms and I got a medium and it's borderline too tight for me. I also wear 32s in levi's can prob go down to a 31 depending on the rise. I think what matters is the hip measurement, depending on where you plan on wearing it.

  • Initial impressions of Space-O belt sizing and weight comparison

I got a M, my waist size is 31/32” I think it fits perfect. My previous belt is a flip belt, weighed it at 90g, Satisfy belt is 44.2g. I did a quick 1 mile repeat track workout with just my phone, I plan to do a 10 mile with it Saturday and add a couple gels

  • Sizing down to S for zero bounce

I'm 31" in waist. Tried the Space-O belt in L, M and S sizes. The L was too big, the M was the best fit. But I ended up with the size S, due to the fact that there was ZERO bounce when loaded with the 500 ml flask in the back and the iPhone in front with some gels at the sides. Truly zero bounce. It takes some shuffling to get into and the fit is on the tighter side, but worth it for the benefits, for my use case.
