Product Insights
CDLP's Silky Jersey Low-Rise Brief Lyocell offers a refined, breathable lyocell fabric that feels softer than cotton, modal, or competitors like Lululemon and Mack Weldon, with a low-rise fit, firm waistband, and double front support for a discreet, form-fitting silhouette suitable for lounging and daily wear under modern pants. The main tradeoff is that while the fabric provides a luxurious feel, buyers report elastic fraying or holes within months of regular wear, though some use lasts years.

Amazing fabric
Worth the extra money. Stellar comfort for a brief. Hold everything without right without feeling restricted.

Positive long-term experience with CDLP boxers
I can't have had a more opposite CDLP experience. I have the boxers, not the boxer briefs, but they've been great. The fabric feels better than competitors roughly in their price bracket that I have experienced (Lululemon, Mack Weldon primarily), and I have gone through a couple dozen washes now without any visible breakdown.

Durability issues with elastic poking and holes after long-term wear
I’ve been wearing CDLP for at least 2 years and note a few issues with little elastic bits poking through fabric, but ai can’t feel them. A few pairs have developed holes rather quickly too.

CDLP boxer shorts used for sleeping, appreciated for comfort
I use CDLP’s boxer shorts for sleeping in. Very comfortable and would say the quality is good.

Elastic durability problems persist despite careful washing
I tried everything with the CDLP pairs: lower than recommended temperatures, lowest spinning speed my machine supports (IIRC 400 rpm), gentle – even delicate – cycle and – of course – using a washbag, but nothing ever could keep the elastics intact, no matter the batch and even generation of the underwear. It was only through reddit that I learned that other customers experienced exactly the same and I wasn't stupid – which I should have known beforehand since I never had an issue with any other garment, but if things go wrong like they did with the CDLP stuff, you start to doubt yourself.
