Description of the bag's sheen and comparison to glossy bags
It’s not that shiny. I have this bag in the “mahogany” colorway. It has a sheen (not fully matte) but it’s definitely not glossy like a Telfar or anything patent leather. No one would look at you carrying this and be like “that’s a shiny bag!”

I ordered the Hereu Calella in black first, and I really liked it. It sits beautifully on the shoulder and has a very modern, minimalist look. However, I ended up returning it because I wasn’t sure the distressed leather would feel timeless in the long run.
