Sizing issues and interior simplicity
Tbh I didn’t care for them. I tried them on and neither size worked well for me, the 28 was too small (tested it with an average size paperback book and it was basically full) and the 39 too large for my frame, it’s so shapeless that I knew I’d get frustrated digging around inside. The exterior leather was nice but for the price I didn’t care for the simplicity of the interior.

Leather quality and value assessment
I picked up the 39 a few weeks ago now and it has worn in pretty well. The leather is unlined, so the interior was rougher when I got it, but all my stuff jumbling around in my bag has smoothed it out. There are marks from how the bag folds and moves, including some light contact marks, but I consider this part of the expected patina. The leather isn’t peeling or tearing at all. That said, I think the price is more so for the design and brand name than anything to do with the leather quality.

Reasons for returning the bag
I’ll give a differing opinion since I know it’s popular and lots of people love it. I personally got the 28 and returned it. Some cons I couldn’t live with include: the inside raw edge just felt cheap and dry to me since I have vintage Coach bags that I got for cheaper, I’m against rolled corners of the bag since they can show wear and tear easily, the leather felt really thin and I’m kinda rough with my bags so I wasn’t a fan, and the shoulder strap is stiff on the sides and that seemed odd to me in its construction. It’s a gorgeous bag for photos and the slouchiness of the bag looks pretty but ultimately it just wasn’t for me when Coach has better designed bags that fit my needs.
