I buy a lot of these charms, including the chili pepper, and I dislike it so much. I think this purchase maybe my first return to coach in the few years I have been shopping from them. I assumed the metal would look similar to the other retail charms based on the other charms I have purchased based at that price, but this charm has the same metal as the outlet charms. I don’t own any outlet bags so to me it won’t match the hardware of bags I own. The retail charms normally feel heavier to me as well and this chili feels very light weight. It feels like receiving the dupe off Amazon when you pay for the price of coach charm. It was probably the first time I felt disappointed when opening the package.

Charm Lacks Brass and Dust Bag, Quality Decline
I just got my brain dead bag charm in the mail yesterday, and it also came with no dust bag and was shipped directly from Coach. I watched a review on TikTok of the chili pepper bag charm, and the lady said she was returning it, and that the top of the pepper was made of plastic, instead of brass. I have no way to verify if that’s true or not because I don’t own this charm, but it’s something you may want to look at a little closer. My charm came just like this, a coach paper tag, and was wrapped in foam. It looks like Coach has been cutting a lot of corners lately, and it’s starting to piss me off. 🫤
