It appears to be machine-made except for the crocheted edging around the fronts and neck. The cuffs and waistband look as if stitches were cast off and then cast on again on the next row to make the rows of holes: machine cast-on isn't like human cast-on, which would, I think, give it that look. I have no idea what's going on in the space between the two rows of holes: I can't make out any stitch details. All of this is just guesswork, but I doubt you can duplicate that look by hand.
