I was able to check out the Ganni bou in store and the recycled leather feels very fake. Someone else on this sub also complained about their bag peeling. It’s a shame because this is such a cute bag!

Ganni Bou material composition is mostly recycled leather and plastic, inferior to full leather competitors
The Ganni Bou is made from 65% recycled leather; the rest is plastic. And although many other APC bags are made from leather, the Ninon is made from "leather-like" material. The Bimba Y Lola bag is made from bonded leather, which isn't great quality. I wouldn't choose any one of those and would go for the Pinko since it's the only one that's actually leather.

I think it's super overpriced relative to the quality of the materials used for the bag. It's made with 65% recycled leather, 19% PU and 16% polyester, so it's essentially one-third plastic. At that price point, you can get much better quality from Coach, Furla or Coccinelle.
