The leather is smooth but not shiny (as for example a Jackie). It will scratch but it will also look good. This is the kind of leather that will actually look better with patina. Also it reminds me of the friendly frog emoji. 🐸

Tactile obsession and zipper love
I bought the Acne Camero Party bag a couple of months ago and every time I take that bag out (at least a couple of days a week) I can't stop touching the leather. The leather will get better with age. And I'm still so in love with all the zippers (and how many opportunities I have with this bag to use bag charms).

Criticism of plastic lining in Camero bag
Sorry this happened to you. If Acne won’t repair it, I’d try taking it to a leather repair shop to see what they can do . Unfortunately this isn’t surprising from Acne considering they couldn’t be bothered to give the new Camero bag a leather lining on the inside and opted for plastic. And still charges nearly $2000 for it.
