Beautiful
These are beautiful boots. Fit very similar to Hunter. They are a little more narrow in the ankle area which might make them harder to fit on some people. They are easier to walk in than Hunter because of being more narrow in the ankle area.

Barbour wellies are cheaply made and overpriced
Barbour shoes and Wellies - like Hunter - have a very poor reputation for quality. Barbour don't make wellies. They buy cheaply made wellies from some sweatshop in China and put a Barbour label on them and sell them for about 20 times their production cost to people who's only metric for wellies performance is whether they have a Barbour label on them. Aigle, Goodyear, Muck boot, Dirt boot, Dunlop - they make good wellies.

Re. wellies the Bede was OK in terms of quality but it’s probably better to go for the Tempest if you can afford it.
