Product Insights
Ipanema's Sunny Paradise Beach Sandals for women feature a contoured footbed with a toe-support ridge that reduces foot fatigue and improves wet traction, but trade off a softer PVC material that retains odors, compresses slower than rubber, and may crack over time, diminishing wet grip. The sandals run true to size but suggest sizing up for wide feet or between sizes, and buyers report loud noise from the footbed when wet. The straps feel soft immediately with a matte finish. Environmentally, Ipanema avoids Amazon rainforest rubber, recycles 99% of industrial waste, and claims the PVC is 100% recyclable.

| Sunny Paradise Beach Sandals Women: Choose this if you want a lightweight, flexible flat flip-flop for casual wear, with a non-slip footbed with toe support, a non-skid striped PVC outsole, and a colorful tropical-print footbed in the Patterned White colorway. It is available in whole sizes 6 through 10, but keep in mind Ipanema shoes do not come in half sizes, so you may need to size up or down from your usual fit.[1,2,3,4] | Pluma Black Beach Sandals Women: Choose these black flip-flop beach sandals if you want a lightweight, flexible everyday pair with comfort details like a supple gel strap, cushioned heel, and non-slip footbed on a non-skid PVC sole. The glossy Y-shaped toe strap with a small Ipanema script logo and textured footbed give them a classic beach-sandal look, offered in sizes 6 through 10. Note that both the upper and outer sole are PVC, so they are a casual synthetic option rather than a leather sandal.[5,6,7] |

Ipanema sandals durability and noise issues
Never. Ipanema's soles will dry and crack. Also, if wet, it will make fart noises
