Je l'adore. La tasse est de qualité, comme pour les autres produits Stanley. Bémol sur une égratignure sur le produit qui doit avoir été causé par la manutention ou la livraison. Au moins elle ne paraît plus avec une base en silicone que j'ai acheté à part et qui sert justement à éviter d'endommager le métal.

I think it’s personal preference/opinion & for me situation. I only used my protour when I’m out, although lately I started leaving mine in bed with me. I’ve had severe dry mouth for several years due to medication. It’s worsened in the past couple of months so I started taking it to bed with me lmao

Eventually it will open easier. I have two of the protours now and I actually like them better now because I can lay it down in my purse or in my car and it doesn’t leak or spill at all! Lol but yes you are so right about the toughness of it opening. It’s a pain in the butt. But all I know is it opens a little easier the more you use it.

Protour requires more cleaning effort and has more parts than regular Quencher
I would say the regular quencher would be your best bet. For the Protour, unless you have a prying tool the spout can be a bit hard to remove. And like any flip straw if your issue might be neglect every once in a while it causes potential for mold but since the lid can disassemble, it can be cleaned. IMO, there are more nooks and crannies to clean vs the quencher, I feel like it’s a little bit more work.

Protour Quencher is the best combination for side handle and leakproofness
It's all about the use/ which type you find more practical: I like the side handle on the Quenchers since I use them at home like a huge cup. Grab it by the handle and drink. For travelling I prefer the handle to be on top like on the IceFlow Tumbler and bottle. Makes it more comfortable to carry and takes up less space in a backpack/ bottle pocket on a backpack (if it fits in!). If you want a leak-proof product go for the Flip Straw or Protour lid - or get a 2.0 quencher and get a third party lid which will also do the job. So the best combination, if you want the side handle and leak-proofness: Protour Quencher.
