The clementine shorts are pretty nice! I would say pretty similar to the lululemon hotty hot shorts. I do size up on the shorts tho! I would recommend to try different sizes in the shorts.

Sizing recommendation for Clementine 2.0 shorts: size up
I was lucky enough to try on clementine 2.0 shorts in person while on a weekend trip. (Weather was hotter than expected and I didn’t pack ANY athletic shorts 🤦🏼♀️) I am verrry consistently a small in Vuori leggings & bike shorts, and I can go either way in small or extra small on sweatpants/joggers. However I got a medium in the clementine 2.0. Had I not been in person I would have likely ordered a small, kept it, and then realized through regular wear that they were too small. Thus I would def size up with your bigger size, or at least order/return the larger size just to double check (I know a lot of people have issues with returns, but I have not had any issues yet). I find with athletic shorts the smaller size always seems to fit while trying them on, and I don’t realize until normal wear that I actually went too small (speaking from the 2 pairs of too small lulu shorts in my closet that I don’t wear) Just my 2 cents, reco to go bigger
