without any horizontal bracing or a box apron that is going to make a very wobbly table. It's like having a pin joint on all sides. Might be ok for a very low table, but a full height one will have insufficient racking resistance. Anyway, i've found something similar here for an extortionate price. Clamps are annoying and overpriced at 300 euros
I think the clamps on the top of the table would annoy me and get in the way. And they don't look very sturdy and I can't believe they are 300 euros!

Friction clamps deemed unreliable and overpriced for a desk
assuming the table top is going to be about an inich thick, it is going to weigh roughly 45 lb. that's a lot of weight to trust to legs held on by friction. at the bare minimum i would make a recess on the top of the table for the top plate to fit down into and a similar one on the bottom for the vise part to go into jist to prevent the legs from getting twisted over time. also those are ridiculously expensive. doing standard metal square tubing would be much cheaper, and you could do a more interesting design. tldr: unless you really need a collapsible desk that you can easily take the legs off, this is a very expensive gimmick.
