Work bag usage with modifications for comfort
I can’t, it’s my work bag except I have it in Maple. I asked the SA to put in a few more holes on the strap so I can shoulder carry and it’s been pretty amazing. The bag does get heavy, but I also only commute from my car to my work station, rest of the time it sits under the desk. I got an organizer for it so it’s not a complete bottomless pit. It holds my lunch, water bottle, thermos for coffee, and a bunch of work stuff with room to spare. I have had her for over a year now, wear her daily and the leather has softened nicely too.

Honest drawbacks after in-store try
1. Shoulder strap keeps falling off (mainly the strap facing out whichever side you're wearing it on) 2. It's light which is great but something about it felt cheap-ish. I think I just prefer it in the glovetanned leather ver. 3. There's space but stiff-ish. Not great if you're looking to stuff it. Might misshapen the sides

Love mine so much I have two but agree with others it’s not a great school bag. I’d look at the Brooklyn 39, Mott messenger bag or a backpack or tote from the outlet.
