Product Insights
Gas Bijoux's Amarante Stud Earrings, priced at 150 CAD and in stock, embody the Marseille atelier's Living Heritage craftsmanship through an ornate Byzantine-inspired design—a warm yellow-gold, no-pendant stud that layers cleanly beside other earrings without competing. This is a regal house look rather than a minimalist gold dot, echoing a royal heritage that has seen the brand worn by Princess Diana and Meghan Markle, though the design itself is vintage-inspired. The core promise is artisan-made, repairable ornament for dry, occasional wear, not daily use: the fine gold-plated brass and fine stones are sensitive to moisture and friction, and the warm gold tone suits gold stacks but clashes with rose jewelry. To offset that fragility, Gas Bijoux backs the plating with a two-year warranty, offers re-gilding from €30 and set-stone replacement at €15–40, plus conversion services—making it a deliberately delicate, beautifully maintained statement piece for those who treat jewelry as occasion-wear.
Verified claims
- EPV label

- Re-gilding starts at €30 and set-stone replacement costs €15–40.
- Design heritage
- Byzantine-inspired ornate design is a regal house look, not a minimalist gold dot.

- The compact frontal stud layers beside an upper-ear stud or gold rings without competing.
- Care
- Recommended for dry, occasional wear: regular moisture and daily friction tarnish the plating.
- Repairability

- Royal heritage
- Royal record names Gas Bijoux, not the Amarante style: Princess Diana in 1985, Meghan Markle in 2019.

- Color coordination
- Warm yellow-gold finish suits gold stacks but reads as a mismatch beside rose-toned jewelry.
- Design styling
- Vintage Byzantine-inspired styling with Gas Bijoux earrings worn by Diana and Meghan.
- Provenance
- Handcrafted in Marseille under France's Living Heritage label, unlike NACH BIJOUX's Hummingbird stud made in Thailand.
- Gold undertone
- Finish is warm yellow gold, not rose or champagne; pale-pink cabochon and coral drop are contrast accents.
- After-sales support
- Plating is covered for 2 years, and worn pairs can be re-gilded from €30.

Gas Bijoux quality warning
It is costume jewelry that will end up looking like crap after wear, how much depends on how careful you are with it. IMO that isn’t “good quality” that is the definition of junk. I’d save my money for something solid gold or sterling silver.
