5 answered- Does the sizing run true to typical pantyhose sizing, or should I size up if I am on the upper end of a size range (e.g., for the control-top to not dig in)?
- We recommend selecting your usual pantyhose size based on height and weight. If you are on the upper end of a size range, consider sizing up to prevent the control-top from digging in, as the control panel is snug by design. A size chart is not included here, but Simons' sizing generally follows standard hosiery guidelines.
- How sheer are these in practice? Are they completely transparent or do they offer a slight skin-tone coverage?
- At 15 denier, these are ultra-sheer and semi-transparent. They provide a light skin-tone coverage that evens out skin tone while remaining very transparent—more sheer than standard 20 denier but with a subtle blur, not completely invisible like 5 or 8 denier styles.
- How resistant are these to runs and snags? Do the reinforced toes and control-top construction improve durability compared to typical sheer pantyhose?
- Reinforced toes add durability at the toe area, but these are still delicate sheer pantyhose. The control-top and overall 15 denier construction offer only modest snag resistance compared to thicker tights. Expect them to run easily on rough surfaces, typical of ultra-fine nylons.
- Does the control-top stay in place and not roll down during wear, especially when sitting or moving?
- The satiny slimming control panty is designed with a wide waistband and bonded edges to stay put without rolling. With correct sizing, it should remain securely in place during sitting and movement. If it does roll, you may need a larger size.
