Product Insights
On's Gardenia Pink Cloud 6 is a lifestyle walking shoe with a full-length Speedboard plate that prevents midsole compression, ensuring consistent cushion and energy return over time while preventing arch collapse. However, it ranks in the bottom 10% for comfort, with buyers reporting blisters within half a mile, and fit issues such as asymmetry between left and right shoes, narrow midfoot, and reported sole separation and mesh tearing, making it a tradeoff between innovative support technology and fundamental comfort and durability.

Shoe store employee finds Cloud 6 uncomfortable
The cloud 6s were really uncomfortable for me and definitely not the ones I recommend to customers. On running shoes are pretty good so I’d suggest either the cloud tilts or cloud swifts.

User ranks Cloud 6 in bottom 10% for comfort
I own 3 pairs of the Cloud 6 in different colors and the only reason I have them is because they’re convenient to slip on and off. But I’d say they are in the bottom 10% of comfort (I’ve recently worn the Nike Vomero Plus, Nike Infinity RN, New Balance 1022, New Balance More Foam, Brooks Adrenaline, and a few others).

User reports Cloud 6 caused blisters and inconsistent sizing
I had the same experience! I had the OnCloud 5 and they were great. The 6 are terrible and gave me terrible blisters after 1/2 mile walk. Also, the left and right shoe aren’t the same !

User finds Cloud 6 fits better than Cloud 5, wide version available
I tried on the Cloud 6s and they seemed to fit better. I also noticed that REI had a “wide” version option as well.
